The design philosophy behind MGibson Knits has always been to make clothes that are enjoyable to wear.  Over the years, we've become known for our fanciful novelty sweaters, hand-loomed of Peruvian cotton (a soft, silky long -stranded cotton) in a small family workshops in the outskirts of Lima, Peru.  Our unique designs feature a relaxed fit, nature-inspired themes, fashion-forward colors, and hand-embroidered details.  

Ethical trade practices have always been a priority for MGibson Knits.  The skillful knitters who work with the company are often the sole supporters of their families and have always received living wages.  Over the last 25 years, the company has worked with many of the same families.  As the business has grown so has the knitters' ability to provide for their families.
